We at hangPROUD.com want all of you to practice safety online. We encourgae you to participate in our eMENTORING program, but it is important to know how to stay safe on the internet.
Our number one tips:
NEVER give out any personal information online such as your personal address, phone numbers or personal schedule.
NEVER plan to meet anyone from the internet that you don't know.
Even once you have established a relationship with someone online and decide to meet, NEVER, EVER GO ALONE. Always be accompanied by an adult if you are under 18 or with a friend if you are 18+ and ALWAYS meet in a PUBLIC PLACE with plenty of people around.
